2015: Named to the All-University Athletic Association First Team…led all Spartan players with a .359 batting average (51-for-142), three home runs and 29 walks…was the only CWRU player to appear in all 39 games, and recorded a team-high 37 starts…finished the year with a .486 on base percentage…scored 24 runs and drove in 24 runs, while adding seven doubles and a triple for a .486 slugging percentage…hit .386 (27-for-70) with runners on base…was one-for-three with three RBIs and a home run against Otterbein on March 25…went three-for-four with three RBIs and two doubles against Otterbein on April 22…added a four-for-four day in his season finale against John Carroll on April 29…selected to D3baseball.com Preseason All-America First Team prior to the start of the campaign.
2014: Started all 46 games at third base and turned in one of the best offensive campaigns in program history…batted a UAA-best .439, also ranking 17th nationally, with six homeruns, 43 RBI, 43 runs scored, 11 doubles and four triples…also totaled a program single-season record 86 hits to rank second in the nation…named toD3Baseball.com All-America First Team and ABCA/Rawlings All-America Second Team…unanimous selection as the Mideast Region Player of the Year with selections by D3Baseball.com and the ABCA…UAA Co-Player of theYear and UAA Championship Tournament MVP…hit for the cycle as part of a 6-for-7 performance with two homers, seven RBI and four runs scored (all career highs) at Guilford on February 22…named UAA Hitter of the Week on February 24…namedto D3Baseball.com National Team of the Week on March 18 after batting .567 with 11 RBI in seven UAA Championship Tournament games….collected at least three hits in a game 12 times…registered at least one hit in 43-of-46 games.
2013: Started all 43 games with a majority oftime in the outfield and at third base…also started at firstbase, designated hitter and catcher…named to All-UAA FirstTeam as an outfielder and was tabbed UAA All-Academic…rankedsecond on the team and amongst the leaders in the UAA with a .433on-base percentage…also ranked second on the squad with 24walks and third with 57 hits and a .333 batting average…went4-for-4 with three runs scored, two RBI and a walk in game one of adoubleheader at Thiel on March 30…scored three runs in agame twice…walked three times in game two at Westminster onApril 6.
2012: Played in 40 games with 37 starts as a freshman utility player…saw time at third base, rightfielder, designated hitter and first base…led Spartan freshmen in all major offensive statistical categories…batted .311 with three homeruns, five doubles,two triples, 17 RBI, 29 runs scored and a team-best 23 walks…also successful on 2-of-3 stolen base attempts…walked twice in a game eight times...went 2-for-4with first career homerun and a season-high three RBI and four runs scored at Baldwin Wallace on April 4…collected a season-best three hits in a win at nationally ranked DePauw on April 21.
Personal: Earned three varsity letters in both baseball and basketball at Hilliard Davidson High School…selected as All-Ohio Capital Conference as asophomore, junior and senior…named all-district in 2010 and 2011…earned second-team All-Ohio honors in 2011…captain of basketball team as a senior…member of the National Honor Society…son of Robert and Dianna Gronski.
