Senior (2024)
Named an honorable mention to the All-PAC Team to claim all-conference honors for the fourth consecutive year… One of just six players in team history to earn All-PAC honors four times over a career… Saw action in nine games during his senior season, serving as the team’s punter… Punted 26 times for 998 yards, good for a career-best 38.4 yards per punt… Punted five times for an average of 36.6 yards per punt, placing two inside the 20-yard line, forcing one fair catch, and registering a 55-yard punt… Had a season-long punt against Saint Vincent on October 12 while also running 21 yards for a first down on a fake punt attempt in the game… Named to the PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll… Finished his collegiate career with 115 punts (the fourth-most ever by a Spartan) for 4,406 yards (also the fourth-most in program history) for an average of 37.7 yards per punt (the second-highest in team history)… His 32 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line are the third-most ever by a CWRU player.
Junior (2023)
Earned the third All-PAC honor of his career after being named to the First Team as a punter following the season… Appeared in nine games during the year… Punted 33 times during the season for an average of 37.1 yards per punt, the 57th-best mark in Division III and fourth in the PAC… Had a pair of punts 50 yards or longer, including a season-long 54-yard punt… Forced 13 fair catches and placed 11 punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line… Made three-of-four field goal tries, including a long of 34 yards, and converted his only extra point attempt during the year… Named the punter on the D3football.com Team of the Week on October 17 after punting four times in the game for an average of 47.2 yards per punt, including three punts inside of the 20-yard line and a season-long punt of 54 yards that pinned Westminster on its one-yard line… Also kicked his season-long 34-yard field goal in the game… Made both of his field goal attempts and punted twice for an average of 41.0 yards against Saint Vincent on October 7… Selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team… Ranks third in school history with 37.45 yards per punt over his career through the end of his junior season.
Sophomore (2022)
Selected as an honorable mention to the All-PAC Team as a punter following the 2022 season… Served as the team’s place kicker, kickoff specialist, and punter during the year, appearing in nine games during the year… Punted 36 times for an average of 38.1 yards with three touchbacks, six fair catches, nine punts inside the 20-yard line, and four punts of 50 or more yards… Made five-of-eight field goal attempts (62.5%), including a season-long of 21 yards… Was a perfect four-of-four on-field goal attempts of 29 yards or less… Made 25-of-26 extra point attempts… Kicked off 43 times for an average of 53.9 yards per kick with eight touchbacks… Named the PAC Special Teams Player of the Week after recording five touchbacks (more than CWRU has had as a team in any single season since 2016) on kickoffs and a 38.5-yard average on punts, including one inside the 20-yard line, and converting a 22-yard field goal and all six of his extra-point attempts against Bethany on October 22… Accounted for a career-high 10 points against Allegheny on October 29, making all seven of his extra point attempts and a field goal in the game… Made two of his three field goal tries against Westminster on November 5 and registered a career-long 68-yard punt… Placed a career-high three punts inside the 20-yard line against both Westminster and Carnegie Mellon… Named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll.
First-year (2021)
Earned an honorable mention to the All-PAC team… Appeared in nine games… Punted 20 times for an average of 36.8 yards per punt… Forced five fair catches during the year and pinned four punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line… Also kicked off 15 times for an average of 51.5 yards, including three touchbacks… Had a season-long 48-yard punt against Saint Vincent on October 2.
Personal
Was a four-year member of the Palos Verdes Peninsula High School football team, serving as a captain during his senior year... Coached by David Young... Named to the All-Bay League First Team and selected as the Impact Player of the Year as a junior... Named the Player of the Year as a senior... Helped his team reach the finals of the CIF Southern Sectionals in 2018... Registered 10 punts inside the 20-yard line, with six inside the 10 and four inside the five his junior year... Converted all 81 of his extra point attempts and made seven of his 10 field goal tries, all from more than 30 yards out... Also played baseball in high school... Born November 3... The son of Joe and Marta.
