2014: Appeared in one game during the year, starting the season-opening contest against Carnegie Mellon.

2013: Started all nine games at left guard…helped clear the road for a 294-yard team rushing performance at Frostburg St. on September 21 – the most for the program since 2001. 

2012: Played in eight games at guard as one of the team’s top freshman offensive lineman. 

Personal: Earned three varsity letters in football and two more in baseball at Medina High School…named MHS Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2011…also tabbed All-Ohio Special Mention, All-Northeast Inland District First Team and All-Northeast Ohio Conference First Team as a senior captain…named to All-Medina County Gazette First Team twice in 2010 and 2011 as well as All-Sun News South/Central Team as a senior…2010 All-District and All-NOC Special Mention…All-NOC Academic in both 2010 and 2011…invited to play in Northeast Ohio Thanksgiving All-Star Classic…honor roll and merit roll student…qualified for National Society for High School Scholars…son of Thomas and Elizabeth McDonald.
