Biography

2013: Played in seven games with starts in the first three at strong safety…missed significant time due to injury…posted 22 tackles, including 2.5 for loss, with an interception and four pass breakups…recorded a career-high 11 tackles versus Frostburg St. on September 21.

2012: Started all 10 games at free safety…named second-team All-UAA…posted 48 tackles, including three for loss, with an interception and four pass break-ups.

2011: Played in nine games and earned eight starts at free safety…named All-UAA Honorable Mention…recorded 26 tackles, a fumble recovery and two interceptions…made first career start at Denison on September 24…recorded first career interception in victory versus Chicago on October 29…posted first career fumble recovery in overtime at Wooster on October 22.

2010: Appeared in two games as a freshman…credited with three tackles (one solo).

Personal: Earned two varsity letters in football while also competing in volleyball and basketball at Mount Lebanon High School…earned the Mount Lebanon Parent’s Athletic Council Award as a senior…member of the National Honor Society…son of George and Kellie Banky.
