The Case Western Reserve University women's basketball team was recognized on Tuesday as a special mention to the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25 Honor Roll.
The Spartans finished the season with a combined 3.677 grade point average for the 2025-26 academic year, the 46th-highest mark among Division III honorees and the third-highest among University Athletic Association programs.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPAs, inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2025-26 season is the 31st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls. Teams having a 3.0 combined GPA and qualifying for consideration for the top 25 in their respective divisions are listed as special mentions.
CWRU finished the 2025-26 season with an 11-14 overall record, including a 4-10 mark in UAA contests. The Spartans are slated to open their 2026-27 campaign on November 6 at 6:00 p.m. against Chatham at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Women's Basketball Tipoff in Washington. Pennsylvania.
