The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team was named a recipient of the 2025-26 National Association of Basketball Coaches Team Academic Award, while six student-athletes on the team were selected to the NABC Honors Court, representing achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and individual players.

Spartan players named to the NABC Honors Court included seniors Anand Dharmarajan, Andrew Fox, and Aaron Rucker, and juniors Logan Brown, Drey Fox, and Julian Scott. Dharmarajan, Andrew Fox, and Rucker each claimed the honor for the second time in their careers.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

The CWRU men's basketball team finished the year with a combined 3.583 cumulative GPA.

Over 2,300 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court, and over 400 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for 2025-26.

The Spartans finished the season with a 12-13 overall record, including a 4-10 mark in UAA games. CWRU is scheduled to open its 2026-27 campaign on Friday, November 6, at home against Kenyon College as a part of the Bill Sudeck Tournament.
