Last Week's Recap
#22 Men's and #22 Women's Swimming & Diving
- Six members of the team earned All-America honors with their performances at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Indianapolis last week
- Seniors John Drumm and Claire Kozma each received three national honors with senior Eliza Dixon, sophomore Marina Oria, and first-years Sohalya Rawlins and Ryan Wells each earning one
- The CWRU women's team tied for 23rd nationally, and the Spartan men's team placed 33rd in Division III
#17 Softball (2-1, 2-1 UAA)
- Won two of its three games against then-sixth-ranked WashU to start conference play at Mather Park last weekend
- Defeated the Bears 4-1 on Friday afternoon, lost 7-4 in eight innings on Saturday, and ended the series with a 10-7 victory later in the day
- First-year pitcher Camryn Mclelland was named the UAA Pitcher of the Week after recording a 2-1 record with a 2.05 earned run average and 13 strikeouts in 13 and two-thirds innings
Baseball (2-2)
- Split a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday, defeating John Carroll 19-5 before falling 11-0 on Saturday at Nobby's Ballpark
- Dropped an 8-5 game to then-17th-ranked Mount Union on Sunday in Alliance, Ohio, before responding with a 7-6 victory in the team's final at-bat
- Sophomore Calvin Gelle was named the UAA Hitter of the Week after batting .500 (eight-for-16) with a .625 slugging percentage and a .579 on-base percentage for a 1.204 OPS
#18 Women's Tennis (1-2)
- Went 1-2 at the Natalie Pitts Memorial Invite on the campus of Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia last weekend
- Defeated the 25th-ranked hosts 4-3 on Friday, before losing to 20th-ranked Williams 5-2 on Saturday and 13th-ranked Johns Hopkins 6-1 on Sunday
- Senior Katalina Wang went 5-1 over the weekend, winning all three of her singles matches and two of her three doubles matches
Men's and Women's Track & Field
- Started the outdoor season with the W&L Track Carnival hosted by Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia
- Won seven events across the two-day meet
- Sophomore runner Donovan Crowley crossed the finish line first in both the 800-meter run and the invite heat of the 5,000-meter run
