The 16th-ranked Case Western Reserve University softball team dropped two games at the Diamondplex in Winterhaven, Florida, on Friday night, falling 6-5 to 20th-ranked Rowan University and 6-0 to Husson University to conclude THE Spring Games.
The Spartans fell to 10-4 this season, while the Profs improved to 5-3 and the Eagles rose to 13-1 in 2026.

- Senior pitcher Devanghi Misra (4-1) started both games, allowing two earned runs on two hits against Rowan and one run on three hits with two strikeouts in three and one-third innings against Husson
- First-year pitcher/outfielder Camryn Mclelland allowed only one run on two hits with three strikeouts in four innings of relief against the Profs. She retired the first seven Eagles she faced in the second game, including six by strikeout, when she entered the circle in the second game in the fourth inning
- Mclelland allowed three runs on three hits in three innings, matching a career-high with seven strikeouts
- Junior infielder Karen Potts had one of the team's three hits against Husson, adding a walk and a stolen base

- She stole second and scored on a single by senior infielder Elizabeth Berry, giving CWRU a 1-0 lead
- The Profs tied the score without a hit by taking advantage of two CWRU errors
- Rowan took the lead with a two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the second inning
- The team increased its lead in the fifth inning, adding a run on a sacrifice fly to make the score 4-1
- CWRU rallied in the seventh inning, scoring four times to take a 5-4 lead
- Junior outfielder Alaina Steffes led off the final frame with a single
- A one-out Rowan error and a single by Mclelland put the tying run at first and the go-ahead run at the plate
- CWRU scored on another Rowan error, keeping the bases loaded and cutting the deficit to two
- The Spartans scored again when the Profs allowed Becker to cross the plate on a fielder's choice, getting an out at second base
- After a stolen base put the go-ahead run in scoring position, the tying run scored on another Profs error
- Potts then crossed the plate on a double-steal attempt, touching home before the Spartan runner was tagged out between first and second
- However, the rally would be for naught as the Profs scored twice on a double in the bottom half to walk off the Spartans

- CWRU stopped a run from scoring in the top of the first inning, but the Eagles broke the deadlock in the second frame on a run-scoring single
