Behind the first two career goals from junior Angelee Rodriguez, the fourth-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 win over Baldwin Wallace University on Tuesday night at DiSanto Field in Cleveland.
The Spartans finished non-conference play with a record of 10-0-1, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 1-7-2.

- CWRU scored four times in the first half and once in the second period
- Rodriguez netted her first career goal with 18 seconds remaining in the first stanza and added the second in the 75th minute

First Half
- Mueller got the Spartans on the board quickly in the game, scoring the first goal after just 110 seconds
- Senior Molly Shamah sent a pass to the middle of the box that Sassower hit toward the net
- The goalkeeper saved the shot with a dive, but Mueller was there to fire in her third goal of the season
- Sassower was credited with her team-leading seventh assist of 2025
- 10 minutes later, Farra doubled the team's advantage with her 10th goal of the season
- She dribbled near the top of the box and sent a hard shot that was deflected into the back of the net
- The Spartans were held off the scoreboard until the 42nd minute when Silva netted her third goal of the season
- A corner kick by first-year Emily Callanen bounced around in the box close to the net and found the foot of Silva
- The senior took a step back and confidently finished with a shot in the lower right corner
- Probst found Rodriguez in a similar position with 20 seconds left in the opening stanza, and the junior hit a shot that could not be handled for the team's fourth tally of the game
- Probst earned her fourth assist of the season
Second Half
- The Spartans continued to apply offensive pressure in the second half, outshooting the Yellow Jackets 19-1 in the final period
- Rodriguez found the back of the net for a second time in the 75th minute
- She received a pass near the top of the box, evaded a pair of defenders, and shot the ball while falling into the back of the net
Spartan Notes
- The Spartans improved to 18-5-2 all-time against the Yellow Jackets, including wins in the last five meetings
- CWRU extending its undefeated streak in regular season non-conference games to 63, improving to 58-0-5 in those contests since 2018. With no more scheduled regular season non-conference games, the streak will extend to 2026
- The Spartans are undefeated through their first 11 games of the campaign for the fifth consecutive season
- Palaian, who leads Division III with nine shutouts, is one clean sheet shy of tying the Case Western Reserve single-season record
- Farra became the 10th Spartan to score at least 10 goals in a single season, a feat most recently accomplished by Camryn Hartman (14) and Helina VanBibber (10) in 2022. The program record for goals is 15 by Anika Washburn in 2021
- First-year Madison Humenik made her collegiate debut in the game, playing 15 minutes

- CWRU outshot BW 37-2 in the game, including a 21-1 edge in shots on goal
- Case Western Reserve has scored 46 times this season, tied for the third most in program history. The 2019 and 1995 squads both scored 46 times
