Make sure to come down to Horsburgh Gymnasium inside the Veale Convocation, Recreation, and Athletic Center the weekend of February 7 - 9 for a jam-packed weekend as Case Western Reserve University and the Department of Physical Education and Athletics will be paying tribute to the school's rich history with its 19th-Annual Throwback Weekend and the kickoff of CWRU's Bicentennial Celebration.

This year's festivities will be centered around the men's and women's basketball University Athletic Association doubleheaders at Horsburgh Gymnasium on Friday night and Sunday afternoon. The CWRU basketball teams will play host to Rochester on Friday with the men's game starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by the women's game at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Spartans will host Emory, starting with the women's game at noon and followed by the men's game at 2:00 p.m.

As has become the tradition, the men's team will don the uniforms commemorating Western Reserve University (Red Cats) and the Case Institute of Technology (Rough Riders). The women will wear uniforms in honor of Flora Stone Mather College. The Universities federated in 1967, becoming what is now known as Case Western Reserve University.
