Women's Basketball (1-0)

• Continued strong start to the season with a 53-47 win over Bethany on Tuesday afternoon in Bethany, West Virginia
• Junior Maura Schorr led all Spartans with 17 points in the game and added 11 rebounds, two steals, and a block for her second double-double of the season
• Senior guard/forward Emily Plachta finished the contest with 10 points and a career-high 15 rebounds with an assist, two steals, and two blocks for her second double-double of the season

Men's Basketball (1-0)

• Snapped a three-game losing streak with a 78-61 win over Saint Vincent on Sunday at Horsburgh Gymnasium
• Senior guard Anand Dharmarajan led all Spartans with 14 points, scoring all of his points during the first half
• The Spartans led for the entire game
