Last Week's Recap
#4 Women's Soccer (2-0-0, 1-0-0 UAA)
- Won 5-0 over Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday night at home to conclude the regular season non-conference schedule
- Defeated 13th-ranked Rochester on Saturday to open University Athletic Association play, 3-1
- Senior Ceci Dapino scored twice, including the game-winning goal
- First-year Izzy Probst had a pair of assists, and sophomore Ashley Liang netted her first career goal
Football (1-0, 1-0 PAC)
- Defeated Saint Vincent 42-14 on the road for the team's second consecutive win
- Junior quarterback Sam DeTillio accounted for three touchdowns on Saturday, throwing for a pair and running for another
- Senior defensive back Osi Chukwuocha had five tackles and recorded an interception, his first of the season
Volleyball (2-0)
- Swept a pair of matches in Delaware, Ohio, defeating Denison 3-1 and Ohio Wesleyan 3-0 on Saturday
- Senior outside hitter Kalli Wall and senior middle blocker Amanda Ngo led the CWRU attack with 21 and 20 kills, respectively
- Ngo added 12 total blocks in the two matches, including seven against Denison
Men's Soccer (0-0-1, 0-0-1 UAA)
- Tied 1-1 with the University of Rochester in the first UAA game of the 2025 season
- First-year Micah Rossen scored his second goal of the season with an assist from sophomore Mitchell Fein
Women's Tennis
- Finished the fall portion of the season with competition at the Ashland Invitational
- Five different Spartans won all five of their matches over the weekend: first-year Gabby Lee, first-year Atra Biria, junior Kareena Sivanesan, sophomore Yasemin Bilgin, and sophomore Maya Brink
- Went 28-4 (.875) in singles play and 14-4 (.778) in doubles matches
#27 Men's and Women's Cross Country
- Both teams placed first at the Daniel Mullen Memorial Invitational, hosted by Muskingum College at the Moorehead Farm in New Concord, Ohio
- The Spartan men's team had five of the top 10 finishers and 10 of the top 20 placers
- The CWRU women's team had three runners finish in the top 7, five in the top 10, and six in the top 15
