Mazzeo followed that with a season-high 30-point showing during the team's 98-87 win over Clark on Friday. He shot 11-for-13 from the floor, including four-for-five from behind the three-point line, and also led all CWRU players with eight rebounds while matching his career-high with seven assists for the second-straight night.

Mazzeo is averaging a CWRU-best 18.5 points per game this season on 52.5% shooting overall and 41.5% from three-point range. He has added 3.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game during the campaign.

The Spartans, ranked eighth in the latest D3hoops.com Top-25, improved to 11-0 on the season following the two wins and are one of just 11 undefeated teams remaining in all of Division III. CWRU will now turn its attention to the start of conference play next weekend, as the team will open University Athletic Association play against Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday, January 6 at 3:00 p.m. in Pittsburgh.
