The Spartans, ranked fifth in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Great Lakes regional poll, enter this evening's match sporting a 9-3 overall record and a 1-1 mark in the University Athletic Association. Case last competed on Sunday, October 9 against Brandeis University in its UAA home-opener. Vinny Bell scored a pair of goals for the Spartans, the first of which set a school career record. Bell's UAA-best 14 goals this season give him 37 in four seasons -- surpassing the mark of 35 set by current Spartan assistant coach Kevin Bigart (2005-08).The record-breaking goal came at the 40:56 mark when he fired a shot into the net from 18 yards out. Bell struck again in the 83rd minute on a tapper from six yards out following a nice double-touch by senior midfielder Mark Ilhan and freshman forward Patrick O'Day.

For the season, Bell leads the Spartans and ranks in the top five in NCAA Division III in both points per game (2.83) and total goals, while O'Day ranks second behind  Bell in the UAA with 19 points (eight goals, three assists).

In goal, senior Ben Yabrow has logged more than 1,000 minutes and posted a 9-3 record, 36 saves and a 0.81 goals against average with three shutouts. Ryan Koepka has also logged over 102 minutes for the Spartans.

The Eagles enter this evening's action with a 6-5 overall record and 1-1 mark in the UAA including a 2-1 setback last Sunday in Atlanta against Washington University-St. Louis (Mo.) and a 1-0 non-conference victory on Wednesday, October 5 against Covenant College (Ga.).

For the season, the Judges are led by Andrew Natalino who has scored four goals, including two penalty kicks, and is tied for the team-lead with three assists along with Zach Samuels' four goals and one assist in nine matches played. The duo of Dylan Price (three goals) and Andrew Jones (three goals) along with Jeffrey Cochran (one goal, three assists) and Zachary Rosenberg (three assists) will look to lead the Emory offensive attack.

As a team, Emory possesses a decided advantage in shots, 185-98, and in corner kicks, 59-36.

Between the pipes, Alex Wong will likely get the nod having played nearly 692 minutes in eight matches with six starts, 24 saves, an .828 save percentage, a 0.65 goals against average and a 6-2 record with four shutouts. Trenton Spindler and Aram Keteyian have also logged over 135 minutes each and could see playing time in net for the Eagles.
