ATLANTA, Ga. – Despite outshooting Emory 14-13, the Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team could not find the back of the net in a 2-0 road loss against No. 14 Emory University (Ga.) on Sunday, October 31. With the loss, Case drops to 10-5-3 overall and 3-3 in the University Athletic Association.

Emory improves to 14-1-2 overall and 3-1-2 in the UAA.

Emory held the edge in corners 8-5, scoring first in the 41st minute on cross from Charlie Donahue to Andrew Natalino. EU added a second goal in the 76th minute on a breakaway goal by Kamron Zia.

Junior goalkeeper Ben Yabrow (Marietta, GA/George Walton Comprehensive) made six saves on the afternoon, as four different Spartans notched two shots on goal. It was just the fourth time this season Case has been shutout for a loss.

The Spartans will look to rebound on the road November 6 in their final regular season match against the University of Rochester at 7:30 p.m.
