    Assistant Coach
Eric Line joined the Case Western Reserve University coaching staff as an assistant coach for both cross country and track & field prior to the 2022-23 academic year. Line's duties with the team include overseeing the team's workouts, planning and facilitating team travel, and serving as the recruiting coordinator for cross country and distance athletes.

In addition to his coaching experience at CWRU, Line has also coached with Runacious LLC, developing long distance running training plans for its clients.

Besides coaching, Line holds a teaching position at Cleveland State University lecturing on Human Biology, Reproduction, and Development. He has also held academic positions at the University of Cincinnati and Bowling Green State.

Line received his undergraduate degree from Oberlin, where he was a captain of the cross country team. He was named both the Great Lakes Region and NCAC Newcomer of the Year, and the All-Ohio Cross Country Division III Freshman Men's Runner of the Year in 2009, and later won the All-Ohio Outdoor 5,000-meter run in 2010.

Line went on to earn his Masters of Science in Biology from Bowling Green.
