2017-18: Wrestled at 174-and 184-pounds during his senior season for the Spartans, going 5-14 overall...Won his first match of the season by decision, defeating Waynesburg's Landon Lohr 8-7 at the Waynesburg Invitational...Earned a win by pin (3:39) over Behrend's Zachary Ishman...Received UAA All-Academic recognition.
2016-17: Finished his junior season with a 14-18 record, competing exclusively at the 174-pound weight class...Won his first match of the season by decision, defeating West Virginia's Tucker Leavitt 3-2 at the 2016 Ohio Intercollegiate Open...Earned a win by pin (0:23) over Wilkes' Justin Morel at the Ursinus Invite...Received UAA All-Academic recognition.
2015-16: Wrestled at 165-, 174- and 184-pounds during the season for the Spartans, going 2-11 overall… Earned a win by pin over Washington and Jefferson’s Jesse Lesko in the consolation round of the 165-pound draw at the NCAA Regionals… Also earned a win by forfeit in the 184-pound match against Trine on November 21st… Received UAA All-Academic recognition.
2014-15: Finished the year with a 6-19 record, competing exclusively at the 165-pound weight class...recorded three pins during the season.
Personal: Earned four varsity letters in wrestling as well as three in football at Monroeville High School…team captain and OHSAA Division III district qualifier as a senior…2014 sectional champion…twin brother Nate is also a member of the CWRU wrestling team…born April 14...son of Michael and Joni Tommas.
