2016-17: Finished his freshman season with a 13-8 record, competing exclusively at 149 pounds...Led the team with a .619 winning percentage, while also tallying a team-high seven pins...won his first career match by pin (0:58), defeating Ashalnd's Max Kutchenrither at the 2016 Ohio Intercollegiate Open.

Personal: Earned four varsity letters in wrestling at Crystal Lake Central High School...served as team captain during his senior year...placed third in the State Championships in 2014 and 2016...coached by Justin Lehr...named to the honor roll in 2016...also pole vaulted in high school...born July 24...son of Matt and Veronica.
