Biography

2019-20: Was the 2020 UAA 133-pound co-champion, after winning his match over Chicago's Griffin Seyfried by decision (10-9) at the conference championships... Became just the third Spartan in the 133-pound weight class to earn the All-UAA honor, and first since Drew Gardella in 2006...Finished the season with a 10-9 record, including a 6-4 mark at 141 pounds...Tallied two pins...Won back-to-back matches at the BW Invite, including a pin (5:40) over Washington & Jefferson's Daniel Choi...Earned UAA All-Academic recognition.

2018-19: Finished his junior season with a 12-9 record, competing in both the 133-pound weight class and the 141-pound weight class...Tallied two pins throughout the year, while also collecting one techincal fall victory...Notched four-staright victories during the RIT Invitational, including a pin (4:00) over New England College's Jordyn Rowe...Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2017-18: Wrestled 17 times for the Spartans at 133 pounds, going 8-9...Tallied three pins during the year...Notched three-straight victories during the RIT Invitational, including a major decision victory (13-1) over Wesleyan's Kasim Khan and a pin (0:47) over Oneonta's Andrew Desousa...Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2016-17: Finished his freshman season with a 14-15 record, competing exclusively at 125 pounds...Won his first career match by decision, defeating Notre Dame College's Johnny Craker 4-2 at the 2016 Ohio Intercollegiate Open...Finished the year tied for third on the team in pins (5).

Personal: Earned four varsity letters in wrestling at Montgomery High School...served as team-captain during his senior year...placed fifth at the 2015 NJSIAA Region 5 Tournament...coached by Kurt Franey...born August 11...son of Kathy and Steven.
