2021-22: Finished his senior season with a 7-13 record, competing at 165 and 174 pounds...recorded five pins on the season, including one over Joshua Lee (Manchester) in 1:18 at the NCAA Central Regional...won two consecutive matches by pin at the RIT Invitational on December 4...received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2020-21: Team did not compete due to pandemic

2019-20: Finsihed his sophomore campaign with a 3-9 record, competing exclusively at the 157-pound weight class...Earned a pin (0:28) over Fairmount State's Dakota McGough at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open on November 10...Won back-to-back matches at the CWRU Mini Invitational, pinning Muskingum's Zach Mason (0:53) and then picking up a 19-0 techincal fall victory over Defiance's Bradley Collins.

2018-19: Finished his freshman season with a 5-16 record, competing at both the 149-pound weight class and the 157-pound weight class...Won his first career match by pin (1:38) over Mercyhurst Northeast's Aaron Morris at the BW Invitational on November 17....Also earned back-to-back pins on February 2, as he pinned Penn St.-Behrend's Trey Kovalick (2:40) and KSU-Tuscarawas' Austin Croto (2:38). 

Personal: Earned four varsity letters in wrestling at La Plata High School...served as the squad's co-captain during his senior year...coached by Jon Pankhurst...also competed in football during high school...born June 27...son of Dale Chipps and Brenda McNey.
