Senior (2017): Named to the All-University Athletic Association Second Team, marking the first all-conference honor of his career… Tied for the team lead with 37 runs scored, and stole 18 bases on as many attempts, the most stolen bases in a single season in school history without a caught stealing and the seventh-most overall in program history… Played right field and started all 38 games he played in, batting .266 with nine doubles, a home run, and 23 RBIs… Recorded eight outfield assists during the year… Notched 12 multiple hit games and five multiple RBI affairs… Opened the season on a 10-game hitting streak, the second-longest by a Spartan in 2017… Went two-for-four with a home run, a double and four RBI during the team’s win over #16 Washington on April 15… Was three-for-four with four runs, three RBIs and two walks in a 20-15 win over Emory on March 25… Stole three bases in a game in wins over NC Wesleyan on March 13 and NYU on April 9… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Recognition… Batted .278 over his career with four home runs, 109 runs scored, 39 extra base hits and 87 runs batted in, playing in 152 total games and making 139 career starts… Ranks third in school history in career stolen base percentage (.898), fifth in stolen bases (44), tied for seventh in runs scored and ninth in doubles (35).
Junior (2016): Appeared in 41 games during the year, making 39 starts in right field and one in left field… Finished the year with a .287 batting average, registering career-highs with 25 runs scored, three home runs and 26 runs batted in… Also stole nine bases on 10 attempts and tallied six doubles… Selected to the UAA All-Tournament Team after batting .452 (14-for-33) with a home run, a double, six runs scored, six RBIs and three stolen bases… Was second among all CWRU players with 14 multiple hit games and added five multiple RBI efforts… Hit safely in 19 of 20 games between March 6th and April 10th, including a 10-game hitting streak… Batted .321 (26-for-81) with runners on base and .346 (nine-for-26) when leading off an inning… Hit his first career home run on February 28th against Manchester… Drove in a season-high three runs against Pitt-Greensburg on March 26th… Earned UAA All-Academic honors.
Sophomore (2015): Named to the All-UAA Tournament Team after batting .375 with eight RBI, four doubles, seven runs scored and four stolen bases on as many attempts during the eight games of the conference championships…played in 35 games, including 24 in a starting role…hit .267 (32-for-120) with a team-best 11 doubles, while scoring 25 runs and driving in 19…second among all Spartan players with 11 stolen bases on 13 attempts…hit .322 (25-for-93) with runners on base and was four-for-four with the bases loaded…batted .318 (14-for-44) with runners in scoring position…went three-for-six with a double, two RBIs and two stolen bases against NYU on March 12th…went two-for-four with a season-high three RBIs and a double against John Carroll on April 6th…was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on April 13th.
Freshman (2014): Played in 38 games with 27 starts in the outfield as one of team’s top freshmen…batted .292 with 19 RBI, 22 runs scored and six stolen bases in eight attempts…went 3-for-4 with three RBI in game two of a doubleheader at Ohio Wesleyan on March 22…went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI in collegiate debut at Guilford on February 22…scored a season-high three runs in game two against Westminster on April 5…twice stole two bases in a game.
Personal: Earned four varsity letters with one at Gulf Coast High School and three at Palmetto Ridge High School…two-time All-Collier County Athletic Conference…2013 6A Academic All-Florida…AP Scholar with Honors…member of the National Honor Society…son of Larry and Marsha Damiano.
