Was a three-year member of the Lake Washington High School track and field team, serving as captain her senior year...Coached by Chris Roa, Lyudmila Vasilyeva, and Tyson Byers...Recorded career-best marks of 9’ in the pole vault, 51.34 seconds in the 300m Hurdles, 28.69 seconds in the 200m, and 13.8 seconds in the 100m...Helped team win league and district championship in 2024...Placed third in pole vault at league championship as a senior...Earned Student Athlete of the Year, Science Department Award, and Washington State Honors Award as a senior...Graduated with capstone diploma...Also competing in gymnastics, winning a team state championship in 2024, and diving, placing second at the league championship in 2024, in high school.

Born June 8...Daughter of Lauren Sato and Phil Ellis...Her mom, Lauren, played soccer and ran track for Ceaderville University from 2002-04, earning All-Region honors in 2003 and 2004 in soccer...Her dad, Phil, played soccer for Ceaderville University from 2002-05, winning NCCAA Kyle Rote, Jr. National Player of the Year honors in 2005.
