Prior to CWRU

Was a three-year member of the Brooks High School track and field team, where she was coached by Brad Black...Recorded career-best mark of 106 ft 3 inches in javelin throw...Helped team win 4A Alabama State Championship in 2022 and 2023...Placed sixth at 4A State Championship in jav in 2022 and eighth in 2023...Was Alabama Girls State Delegate for Brooks High School in 2023...Named Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen in 2023...Also played basketball and softball in high school, helping the softball team finish as 4A Alabama State Runner Up in 2024.

Personal

Born June 5...Daughter of Nathan and Heather Bowen...Her mother, Heather, played softball for Wallace State College from 1994-96...Her father, Nathan, played hockey for University of Alabama Huntsville from 1996-2000, where he ranks fifth in program history in goals scored.
