Biography

Senior (2025)


Appeared in 44 games and made 42 starts during his senior season… Made 34 starts in left field and eight in center… Batted .279 (43-154) with 40 runs, seven doubles, five triples (the fourth-most in a season in team history), one home run, and 26 RBIs… Walked 27 times (the 13th-most in a season in program history) to raise his on-base percentage to .397 and slugged .409 for an .806 OPS… Stole eight bases on 10 attempts… Recorded 10 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI efforts… Started all 20 UAA games and batting .261 (18-69) with 20 runs, three doubles, two triples, 12 RBIs, and four stolen bases… Opened the season with a three-hit game against Mount Union, including a double and a triple… Went four-for-five with two runs, two RBIs, a double, and a triple against Wittenberg on March 14… Drove in three runs and tripled against Chicago on April 13… Hit a home run and drove in two runs against North Central in the NCAA Regional Tournament on May 16… Earned UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Played in 148 games over his career, including 124 as a starter, and batted .301 with five home runs and 72 RBIs… Ended his career ranked fourth in program history in walks (92), ninth in triples (8), 10th in runs scored (125), and 12th in on-base percentage (.434).

Junior (2024)


Had a breakout year for the Spartans as a junior, starting all 41 games, including 37 as the team’s leadoff hitter… Named to the All-UAA Second Team following the campaign… Started 24 games in center field and 17 games in leftfield… Hit .352 (57-162) with 52 runs (sixth in team history), 11 doubles, two triples, two home runs, and 20 RBIs… Led all CWRU players with 33 walks, the fifth-most in a single season in program history… Stole six bases on as many attempts… Finished the campaign with a .481 slugging percentage and a .473 on base percentage… Had a .988 fielding percentage with a pair of outfield assists… Hit .380 (52-137) against right-handed pitching… Saw his on base percentage climb to .514 when leading off an inning… Batted .402 (41-102) with the bases empty… Totaled 17 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games… Reached base in 25 straight games to end the season… Had a 14-game hitting streak between April 7 and May 5… Batted .397 with 24 runs, seven doubles, two triples, and 10 RBIs in 16 UAA games… Slugged .571 with a .531 on base percentage in conference play… Went four-for-seven with a run in the Spartans’ season-opener against Washington & Jefferson on February 23… Hit home runs in back-to-back games against Swarthmore on March 11 and Trinity on March 12… Drove in a season-high three runs during the Spartans’ win over WashU on April 26 that clinched the UAA Championship… Went 10-18 with four doubles in the four-game series against the Bears… Received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his junior season with the eighth-highest career on base percentage (.451) and the 15th-most walks (65) in program history.

Sophomore (2023)


Played in 34 games, including 22 in a starting role… Hit .316 (24-76) during the year with 23 runs scored, seven doubles, a triple, a home run, 18 runs batted in, and three stolen bases on five attempts… Slugged .474 and had a .495 on-base percentage for a .969 OPS, the third highest among Spartan players during the year… Had three multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games… Hit .328 (21-64) against right-handed pitching and .344 (11-32) with runners in scoring position... Ended the season on a season-long four-game hitting streak and a 13-game streak of reaching base safely… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on May 1 after leading all Spartan players with a .545 batting average (6-11), 1.091 slugging percentage, and .706 on-base percentage while notching six runs, three RBIs, three doubles, a home run, and five walks in games against Ohio Wesleyan, Mount Union, and Wooster… Scored a career-high four runs and recorded a career-high three hits in the game against Mount Union… Tallied a career-best five RBIs against Brandeis on April 21… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition.

First-year (2022)


Appeared in 29 games during the season, including 19 as a starter… Hit .219 with three doubles, a home run, eight RBIs, 10 runs scored, and six stolen bases on seven attempts… Drew 13 walks to raise his on-base percentage to .348 for the year… Had a .350 on-base percentage when leading off an inning… Hit the first home run of his career against Denison n March 20, finishing the game one-for-two with a run, an RBI, a walk, and a stolen base… Went two-for-four with a double and two RBI against NYU on April 16… Added a two-for-four showing with an RBI against Mount Union on May 7.

Prior to CWRU


Was a three-year member of the North Allegheny High School team... Coached by Andrew Heck, Phil Coffin, and Jeremy Sabo... Helped lead his team to the state semifinals in 2019, and to a district championship and state finals in 2021... Earned WPIAL 6A All-Section First Team honors in 2019 and 2021... Also played hockey in high school.
