2013: Appeared in a team high-tying 13 games on the mound with one start…named to UAA All-Academic Team…went 2-3 with a 4.85 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 26 innings of work…tossed six innings without allowing an earned run in UAA Championship action versus Rochester on March 13.

2012: Pitched in 10 games with one start on the mound…named UAA All-Academic…posted two saves with a team-best 1.66 ERA and nine strikeouts in 21.2 innings of work…logged a season-high 6.2 innings pitched and allowed only two earned runs at nationally-ranked DePauw on April 22…struck out a season-best three batters in 1.1 shutout innings versus John Carroll on February 24…earned first career save with 2.1 shutout innings versus Wooster on April 7.

2011: Made seven appearances and earned two starts as a freshman…finished with a 2-0 record and a 5.09 ERA in 23 innings pitched…tossed 5.1 shutout innings in relief during NCAA Mideast Regional victory versus Franklin…recorded career bests with seven innings pitched and five strikeouts in win at Mount Aloysius on March 20.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters in both baseball and golf as well as one in swimming at nearby Independence High School…served as team co-captain for both baseball and golf…first-team All-Ohio Division III for baseball in 2010…earned IHS “Golden Arm” award for three-straight seasons from 2008-10…named first-team All-Chagrin Valley Conference and All-Sun News Post in 2009 and 2010…named to Mizuno All-Ohio Team in 2010…set IHS career wins record (20)…recipient of a United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete award…son of Joe and Apryle Suvak.
