
Senior (2019): Named to the ABCA/ Rawlings All-Mideast Region Second Team and the D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region Third Team… Also claimed a spot on the All-University Athletic Association First Team… Had a career year for the Spartans, starting all 39 games at third base and batting .399 (second in the UAA and 92nd in DIII) with a home run, 27 RBIs, and 35 runs scored… Led the Spartans with 61 hits… Hit six triples during the year, leading the UAA and ranking 19th in Division III, while also matching the program’s single-season record… Ranked 32nd in Division III and led the conference with 0.15 triples per game… Added 10 doubles in 2019, raising his slugging percentage to .562… Walked a team-high 21 times and was hit by 11 pitches to raise his season on base percentage to .503… Stole eight bases on 10 attempts… Notched a .940 fielding percentage at third base, committing just eight errors during the season… Batted .500 (19-of-38) against left-handed pitchers… Had 15 multiple-hit games during the year and seven multiple RBI games… Recorded a seven-game hitting streak from April 13 to April 28… Hit .327 over the team’s 14 conference games, scoring 10 runs, driving in eight and notching two doubles, three triples and a home run… Batted a team-leading .471 (eight-of-17) with a double, three runs and two RBI during the Spartans’ four NCAA postseason games, including a four-for-six game against Rochester on May 18 and a three-for-four game with two RBIs and a double on May 19… Went five-for-five with three RBIs against Roger Williams on March 13… Added a second five-for-five performance with a pair of doubles three days later against Western New England… Hit a solo home run against NYU on April 7… Finished his career as the program’s all-time leader after being hit by 34 pitches over his career, while ranking eighth in program history in career runs scored (112), seventh in triples (7), and 10th in games played (153).
Junior (2018): Started all 36 games he played in at third base… Finished the season batting .220 (29-for-132) with 25 runs scored, 10 doubles and 20 runs batted in… Was a perfect eight-for-eight on stolen base attempts… Notched a career-high .946 fielding percentage at third base, committing just five errors during the year… Batted .273 (nine-for-33) against left-handed pitching and reached base at a .400 mark when leading off an inning… Also hit .260 (13-for-50) with runners in scoring position during the year… Recorded six multiple hit games, including a pair of three-hit efforts… Drove in two or more runs three times during the year… Went two-for-four with two runs, three RBIs, a double and a stolen base in a win over Trinity (Conn.) on March 11… Picked up three hits in five at bats with two runs scored, two RBIs and a double against Emory on March 31… Also had a three-hit game with a double against New York University on April 14… Hit in six-straight games between March 16 and March 25… Will enter his senior season as a career .256 hitter with 20 doubles, three home runs and 53 runs batted in.
Sophomore (2017): Started all 39 games he played in during the season, 35 at third base and four at second base… Tied for the team lead with three home runs… Batted .290 with a .428 slugging percentage and a team-leasing .411 on base percentage… Added 29 runs, six doubles, two triples and 18 runs batted in, while stealing four bases on six attempts… Hit .320 (eight-for-25) against left-handed pitching… Totaled 11 multiple-hit games and three multiple RBI games… Recorded a 10-game hitting streak from April 15 through May 7… Hit his first career home run during the team’s season-opening contest at Shenandoah, going two-for-four in the game… Was three-for-three with four RBIs, a double and a home run in a win over Rochester on March 18… Also homered during a win over Brandeis on April 2… Was two-for-four with two triple and two RBIs against Brandeis on April 1… Named the UAA Hitter of the Week on May 1 after going four-for-seven with two runs, an RBI and a double during games against Wooster and John Carroll.
Freshman (2016): Played in 39 games during his freshman season, including 31 starts at third base and three at second base… Hit .256 (33-for-129) with 23 runs scored, four doubles, 15 runs batted in, and five stolen bases on six attempts… Helped the Spartans go 22-9 during the games he started at third base… Hit .409 (nine-for-22) against left-handed pitching and .323 (20-for-62) with the bases empty… Recorded three-hit games against Denison on April 2nd, Wooster on April 17th, and John Carroll on April 5th and April 8th and April 17th… Drove in three runs in a game on three occasions.
Personal: Was a three-year member of the St. Ignatius baseball team...was coached by Brad Ganor...born February 21st...son of Pete and Michelle.
