Biography

2016: Did not appear in a game during his senior year.

2015: Saw action in two games off the bench during his junior season… Did not allow a goal in 65 minutes and 29 seconds of action… Played the entire second half against Waynesburg University on October 24th, holding the Yellow Jackets scoreless in a 9-0 win… Also played 20 minutes and 29 seconds of shutout soccer in a 5-0 win at Mount Union on September 1st… Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2014: Played in three matches with two starts at goalkeeper…recorded 11 saves…named UAA All-Academic.

2013: Played in nine matches with five starts in goal as a freshman…posted a record of 2-4-1 with 15 saves in 623:01 of action…recorded a career-high five saves at NYU on October 13…earned first collegiate win via a shutout at Hiram on October 1.

Personal: Earned a total of five varsity letters with three in soccer and two in football at nearby Twinsburg High School…first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference and All-Greater Cleveland for 2012 NOC Championship team…named All-NOC Honorable Mention and All-Greater Cleveland Second Team in 2011…NSCAA All-Academic…Academic All-Ohio…AP Scholar with Honors…NOC Scholar…son of Antonio and Cindy Candau.
