2015: Played in 12 games during his sophomore season, making three starts… Assisted on a goal during the team’s season-opening game against Mount Union on September 1^st, a 5-0 win for the Spartans… Aided a defense that finished the year ranked 11^th in Division III in team goals against average (0.59), 14^th in save percentage (.866) and 21^st in shutout percentage (0.56)… Helped to hold opponents to 10.3 shots per game and 4.6 shots on goal per game, while recording 10 shutouts… Finished the year with one shots… Received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2014: Played in 10 matches with one start at defender as a freshman.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters at nearby Mentor High School…three-time All-Northeast Ohio Conference honoree with first-team status in 2012 and 2013…three-time All-Greater Cleveland…Scholar All-American as a senior…graduated summa cum laude…son of Michael Powell and Oanh Loi-Powell.
