Pitched in 14 games, including a pair of starts, for the Spartans during his first year on the team, going 1-0 with a 4.80 ERA and one save… Struck out 27 batters and walked 11 in 30.0 innings of work… Allowed 29 hits for a .254 opponents’ batting average… Held right-handed hitters to a .244 batting average and limited opponents to a .246 average with runners on base… Appeared in six UAA games out of the bullpen, recording a 3.00 ERA and holding opponents to a .133 average… Struck out 12 and walked just two in nine innings of work… Recorded six scoreless outings and allowed one or fewer earned runs in 10 of his appearances… Named the relief pitcher on the NCAA Cleveland Regional All-Tournament Team after throwing 6.2 innings over a pair of appearances out of the bullpen and picking up the first win and save of his career… Struck out a season-high six batters in 2.1 innings against Brandeis on April 25, allowing a run on two hits and a walk… Pitched 1.2 innings against NYU on April 19, retiring all five batters he faced with four strikeouts… Pitched 2.2 hitless and scoreless innings in his college debut against Spalding on March 1, striking out five and walking just one… Retired all seven batters he faced in a relief appearance against Emory on April 4… Allowed one run on five hits with two strikeouts against Johns Hopkins in the NCAA Super Regional on May 24.

Was a four-year member of the Northview High School baseball team, serving as a team captain during his senior season… Coached by Steven Bombard… Was a two-time all-region honoree… Selected as his team’s Defensive Player of the Year all four years of high school… Graduated magna cum laude.
