Senior (2017): Pitched in four games during his senior year, making one start… Held opponents to a .273 batting average… Made the first start of his career during the team’s game at Progressive Field against John Carroll… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Recognition… Appeared in 25 total games over his career.

Junior (2016): Appeared in 10 games out of the bullpen during his junior season… Struck out 10 batters over 14 innings of work, and pitched to a 7.71 earned run average… Held left-handed hitters to a .222 (two-for-nine) average… Opposing hitters batted just .206 (seven-for-34) with the bases empty and .118 (two-for-17) with two outs… Pitched 2.2 innings during the team’s 8-5 win over John Carroll on April 17^th to pick up his first career save… Had three scoreless outings during the year… Earned UAA All-Academic honors.

Sophomore (2015): Pitched in five games out of the bullpen during his sophomore season…allowed two earned runs (three total) in 5.0 innings of work for a 3.60 ERA, and surrendered just a pair of hits for a .105 opponents’ batting average…struck out four batters and walked three during the season…held opponents without an earned run in four of his five outings…pitched two scoreless innings against Mount Aloysius on March 22…earned UAA All-Academic recognition.

Freshman (2014): Pitched in six games and posted a 2.35 ERA as a freshman…logged two scoreless innings with two strikeouts in collegiate debut versus Franklin and Marshall on February 23.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters in baseball and one in football at nearby North Royalton High School…team captain as a senior…two-time Perfect Game USA Underclass All-America Honorable Mention…AP Scholar…member of the National Honor Society…graduated magna cum laude…son of Paul and Susan Rossman.
