Personal: Was a two-year member of the Penfield High School cross country and track teams, serving as a team captain during his senior year... Coached by Dave Hennessey... Earned first team all-county honors in the 4x800m relay and the 1000m run... Qualified for the New Balance Nationals in the 4x800m relay in 2019... Was an All-Greater Rochester Honorable Mention for cross country, indoor track and outdoor track... Named his team's Most Improved Runner for Cross Country in 2018... Selected to the Cross Country all-county second team in 2018... American Chemical Society Award winner... National Honor Society member... Winner of the 2018 Penfield Rotary Club Award for Academic Excellence... Named the Most Outstanding German Student in 2016, 2017 and 2019... Also played soccer and tennis in high school...
