Personal: Was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams at Mundelein High School, serving as a team captain during his senior year... Coached by Kurt Rutz... Qualified for the IHSA Cross Country State Championships in 2017 and 2018... Was also a state qualifier in the 4x800m Relay in 2017... Recorded career-best times of 14:53.2 in the three-mile run during the cross country season, and track and field top times of 1:59.8 in the 800m run, 4:27.2 in the 1,600m run and 9:36.3 in the 3,200m run... Winner of the Scholar Athlete Award in 2019 and secured a spot on the high honor roll each semester of his high school career... Born September 17... Son of Bob and Lisa.
