Was a four-year member of the track and field team at Chaparral High School, serving as a co-captain his senior year...Coached by Robert Reniewicki, Terrence Tillet, and Jonathan Lofgren...Was the district champion in the 800-meter run in 2023...Named his team's Most Valuable Performer for Distance during the 2023 track & field season...Earned an Outstanding Senior Award during the 2022 season...Recorded top marks of 9:30.42 in the 3,200-meter run (a school record), 4:29 in the 1,600-meter run, and 2:03 in the 800-meter run...Earned a Seal of Biliteracy for Spanish.
