Prior to CWRU

Competed in cross country for one year and in track & field for four years at the Pembroke Hill School, serving as the captain of the track & field team as a senior… Coached by John Steele, Amanda Stockman, and Ben Keefe… Earned six all-district honors and one all-section honor in track & field… Claimed all-district honors in cross country once during his career… Recorded career-best times of 4:39 in the 1,600m run and 2:01 in the 800m run… Earned high honors each year of high school… Won the National Merit Finalist competition… Named an AP Scholar with Distinction and was a Scholastic Silver Key Medalist… Also played soccer in high school.
