Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the St. Stephens & St. Agnes School track and field team, serving as captain his senior year...Coached by Shawn Cotter and Robert Watson...Ran career-best times of 11.3 in the 100-meter dash and 23.2 in the 200-meter dash...Qualified for the State Championship all four years...Made the Dean's List in every semester...Named a National Merit Scholar...Also played soccer, earning First team All-Conference honors as a senior.

Born December 28...Son of Zemede and Meleekt Bezuneh...His brother, Nathan, currently ran track and cross country at Fordham from 2021-25.
