Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Squalicum High School track and field team, serving as captain his junior and senior years...Coached by Erin Hoopes and Alan Doud...Ran personal best times of 49.51 seconds in the 400-meter dash and 55.54 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles...Helped team to fourth place finish at state championship...Won state championship in 4x100-meter relay, setting a school record...Finished as runner-up in 4x400-meter relay, placed fifth in 300-meter hurdles at state championship...Placed second in 4x100 and sixth in 400-meter hurdles at USATF National Championships, earning two All-America honors...Named AP Scholar with Honor (2021, '22).
