Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the John Hersey High School track and field and cross country teams, serving as co-captain his senior year...Coached by Kevin Young and Michael Glosson...Ran career-best times of 1:58.34 in the 800m and 15:29 for three miles in cross country.
