Personal: Competed for the Dakota High School cross country team for two seasons and for the track & field team for four seasons... Served as a team captain during his senior year... Coached by Michael Timpa... Two-time state qualifier for track and field (2018 and 2019) and a 2018 cross country state qualifier... Also secured all-county honors for cross country and track & field during his junior and senior years, and all-conference honors in track & field (2017, 2018, 2019) and cross country (2017, 2018)... Set school records with times of 15:42 in the 5K during cross country season and 9:36 in the 3200m run in track... Earned multiple Academic All-County and All-Conference honors... Also played soccer in high school... Born September 24... Son of Jeffrey and Jeanette... His brother, Josh, competes on the Tiffin cross country and track & field teams.
