Prior to CWRU
Was a four-year member of the St. John's School track and field team, serving co-captain his senior year...Coached by Richie Mercado...Ran career-best times of 50.66 seconds in the 400-meter dash and 22.79 seconds in the 200-meter dash...Received All-Conference awards three times...Also swam and ran cross country in high school.
