Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams at Edina High School, serving as a cross country captain during his senior year...Coached by Jamie Kirkpatrick and Matt Gabrielson...Helped his team qualify for the state meet in 2019, 2020, and 2021...Led the squad to a second-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational in 2019...Was a two-time all-conference honoree and a three-time all-section honoree for cross country...Named his team's most valuable runner as a junior...Recorded top times of 16:25 in the 5K and 4:37 in the 1,600-meter run... Graduated with honors.

Born July 1...Son of Kai Richter and Zenaida Chico...Father ran cross country for Dartmouth from 1991-95...Sister, Morgan, competed in Nordic skiing for Bowdoin from 2022-24.
