Prior to CWRU: Was a four-year member of the `Iolani School track and field team, serving as captain his junior and senior years...Coached by Shane Hedani and Gil Tibyan...Recorded career-best mark of 39" 3.25' (11.95 meters) in 12 lbs. shot put, ranking 17th in school history...Helped team win Divisional Championships in 2021...Received All-Conference honors in 2021, placing third...Qualified for the state championship in 2022 and 2023...Named finalist in Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in 2022...Won the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair (HSSEF)...Placed seventh at the 2023 National History Bowl, winning the State History Bowl four times (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)...Also competed in paddling in high school, finishing as the state runner-up in 2022.
