Prior to CWRU

Was a two-year member of the Saint Ignatius High School track and field team, where he was coached by Robert Wolf and Alicia Mayer...Ran career-best times of 10.96 in the 100-meter dash and 22.28 in the 200-meter dash...Received the #34 Jim Skerl Award as a senior...Member of National Honors Society...Graduated with honors...Member of top honor roll all four years...Also played basketball and baseball in high school.
