Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams at Santa Rosa High School, serving as a captain during his junior and senior seasons…Coached by his mother, Carrie Joseph…Helped lead his team to cross country and track league championships in 2023-24…Won the league finals in the 3,200m run in 2023…Was an all-league first-team selection for cross country in 2022 and an All-Empire Second-Team honoree for track in 2024…Recorded a career-best cross country three-mile time of 15:35…Notched career-best track times of 9:49 in the 3,200m run and 4:32 in the 1,600m run…Named to the NCS Presidential Honor Roll and selected as an NCS Scholar-Athlete…Graduated magna cum laude…Also played basketball in high school.
