Senior (2020-21): Earned All-UAA honors for his play at no. 5 singles… Was ranked 12th in the Central Region for doubles with partner Neil Mabee… Went 11-2 in singles matches and 11-5 in doubles play during the season… Was 3-0 in singles matches during the NCAA Team Championships, including a match-clinching three-set win at no. 5 singles in the NCAA semifinals against Washington (Mo.)… Also clinched the Spartans’ win against Gustavus Adolphus in the round of 16 of the NCAA Championships… Finished the year on a seven-match winning streak for singles… Ended his senior season with a 53-6 record in singles matches, good for the 13th-most wins and the best career winning percentage (.898) in program history… His 71-29 doubles record marks the ninth-most victories and 12th-best winning percentage (.710) in team history… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Junior (2019-20): Selected as the ITA Central Region Player to Watch… Finished the year with an 11-1 singles record, including a 6-1 mark at no. 4 singles… Won his final eight singles matches of the year… Added a 19-6 doubles record, including an 8-2 tournament record and an 11-4 ledger in spring dual matches… His .760 overall doubles winning percentage ranks as the 22nd-best in team history… Reached the semifinals of the doubles draw at the ITA Central Region Fall Championships with Zach Hennessey, after entering the tournament as the fifth-seeded duo… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and received UAA All-Academic recognition… At the end of his junior season, has the best career singles winning percentage and the 19th-most wins with a 42-4 record (.913)… Ranks 12th in program history in doubles wins and 10th in winning percentage with a record of 60-24 (.714).
Sophomore (2018-19): Earned All-UAA Second Team recognition for his play at no.4/5/6 singles… Was also ranked 10th with Anthony Kanam in the final Oracle/ ITA Central Region doubles rankings… Went 24-3 during the year in singles matches, good for the eighth-most singles wins and the second-best winning percentage (.889) in a single-season in program history… Saw significant time at the no. 3, no. 4, no. 5, and no. 6 positions in the lineup during the spring, going 19-2 in singles play during dual contests… Was 25-13 in doubles play during the campaign, marking the 16th-most doubles wins in team history… Went 15-11 in doubles matches during the spring, seeing all of his time at no. 1 doubles, including a 10-11 spring record with Kanam… Won 13-straight singles matches between February 23rd and April 13th, and secured wins in 17 of his last 18 matches of the year… Reached the quarterfinals of doubles draw at the ITA Fall Regional Championships with Kanam… Also made it to the round of 32 of the singles draw at the event… Ended his sophomore season with a 31-3 career singles record, with his .912 winning percentage marking the highest in program history… His 41 doubles wins mark the 19th-most over a career in program history, while his .695 winning percentage is the eighth-best ever by a Spartan.
First-year (2017-18): Earned an All-UAA honorable mention during his freshman season for his play at no. 2 doubles with Neil Mabee, with the duo finishing the year with a 15-5 record together… Was 16-5 overall in doubles play during the year, and his .762 winning percentage ranked as the 14th-best in a single season in program history… Won eight of his last 10 doubles matches during the year, including a 2-1 record in UAA action… Added a 7-0 record in singles matches during the year, all in the spring… Was 4-0 as the team’s sixth singles player… Went 3-0 in singles play at the UAA Championships, including a pair of wins at no. 5 singles.
