2015-16: Went 6-2 in singles matches and 8-2 in doubles contests during his junior season… Went undefeated in the spring with a 1-0 singles record as the team’s no. 6 player, and 2-0 in third doubles matches, teaming with Freddy Daum… Turned in a solid fall, going 5-2 in singles matches and 6-2 in doubles contests… Reached the semifinals of the singles ‘B’ consolation draw at the ITA Fall Central Region Championships and the finals of the ‘B’ doubles draw with Robert Stroup… Selected as an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

2014-15: As a sophomore, went 1-2 in doubles.

2013-14: Competed in three matches as a freshman.

Personal: Earned a total of seven letters with three in tennis, three in soccer and one in indoor track at Ephrata Senior High School…captain of both the varsity soccer and varsity tennis team…Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 First-Team All-Star for tennis as a senior…member of the LLL Section 2 Championship soccer team…senior class president…member of the Spanish National Honor Society…son of Rebecca Thatcher Murcia and Saul Murcia.
