Biography

Senior (2020-21): Went undefeated in limited appearances for the Spartans during his senior year, going 3-0 in singles matches and 1-0 in doubles play… Won each of his three singles matches in straight sets… Ended his career with a 24-11 singles record and a 17-9 doubles mark… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition and was named an ITA Scholar Athlete.

Junior (2019-20): Ended his junior season with a 9-4 singles record and a 6-4 doubles ledger… Went undefeated in the spring, going a perfect 7-0 in singles matches and 2-0 in doubles contests… Earned a win at no. 1 singles in his final match of the year against Wheaton (Ill.)… Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and received UAA All-Academic recognition.

Sophomore (2018-19): Finished his sophomore season with a 7-1 singles record and a 5-1 doubles mark… Was undefeated in dual matches during the spring, going 5-0 in singles play and 4-0 in doubles.

First-year (2017-18): Finished his freshman season with a 5-6 singles record and a 5-4 doubles record, all in the fall.

Personal: Was a four-year member of the Westlake High School men's tennis team, serving as the team captain in 2016 and 2017... Was coached by Saumil Jhaveri... Born October 19... Son of Saumil and Stacie.
