Prior to CWRU: Was a four-year member of the South Eugene High School swimming and diving team, serving as captain his senior year...Coached by Britta Wyatt...Recorded personal best times of 51.23 seconds (100 Back), 4:03.43 (400 IM), 21.23 seconds (50 Free), 46.90 seconds (100 Free)...Won the State Championship in 2019 in 100 Free (2019)...Placed third at State Championships in 100 Back...Also swam for Team Eugene Aquatics, where he was coached by Julio Zarate.

Personal: Born June 9...Son of Mike and Dina Ahten...His brother, Spencer, is also a member of the CWRU swimming & diving team.
