Was a four-year member of the Wilton High School swimming and diving team, serving as the squad's captain during his junior and senior year...was coached by Randy Erlenbach, Joe Bonk and Todd Stevens...also competed for the Wilton YMCA Wahoos, where he was coached by Randy Erlenbach and Joe Bonk.
