Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Buffalo Grove High School swim team, serving as captain his senior year...Set school records in the 100 Breast (55.90 seconds) and 100 Fly (49.67 seconds)...Swam personal best times in the 200 IM (1:52.51), 50 Free (21.29 seconds), and 50 Breast (25.46)...Helped team win MSL-East division for first time since 2012 and finish second in the conference in 2021...Placed eighth in the 100 Breast and 12th in the 100 Fly at the 2024 State Championships...Named NISCA All American and 2nd Team All State for 100 Breast in 2024...Received All-State honorable mention in 100 Fly in 2024...Won three consecutive conference championships in the 100 Breast from 2022-24...Graduated with Highest Honors, was a member of the National Honors Society, and named to MSL All-Academic Team in 2024...Also played water polo in high school...Swam for Patriot Aquatic Club, where he was coached by Kevin Zakrzewski...Named USA Swimming Academic All American...Qualified for USA Swimming Summer Junior Nationals...Set team record in 400 Medley Relay.
