2012-13: Earned fourth varsity letter and served as a team tri-captain…swam career bests in five events throughout the season, the 100 free (49.02), 200 free (1:44.26), 500 free (4:43.98), 100 back (56.11) and 50 breast (29.74)...swam a leg for the 800 free relay team that hit an NCAA “B” cut of 6:51.96 at the UAA Championship on February 15.

2011-12: Earned third varsity letter…swam to a career-best time in the 50 free (22.49).

2010-11: Earned second varsity letter…placed eighth in the 1650 free at the UAA Championship…swam career bests throughout the year in the 1,000 free (10:09.50), 50 back (25.39) and 200 back (1:57.28).

2009-10: Earned first varsity letter as a freshman…finished sixth in the 1,650 free at the UAA Championship with an NCAA "B" cut time of 16:18.04.

Personal: Member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity of North America...lettered in swimming at Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School…also competed in baseball...swimming team captain from 2006-09...son of James and Marian Emr.
